The egg hatches, revealing a baby Tyrannosaurus Rex. Maya is terrified but also fascinated. The dinosaur imprints on her, seeing her as its mother. She names him Rex. 'He... he thinks I'm his mom?' Maya exclaims in disbelief, looking at Rex's wide, innocent eyes.

General Vargas, alerted to the dinosaur's existence, arrives with his troops. He sees Rex as a threat and intends to capture him. Maya and Kai must protect Rex at all costs. 'We can't let them take him!' Maya cries, grabbing Rex's leash.
A chase ensues through the dense jungle. Maya and Kai use their knowledge of the terrain to evade the soldiers, while Rex's strength and speed prove invaluable. 'Go, Rex, go!' Kai yells, hacking a vine to clear their path.

General Vargas, relentless in his pursuit, discovers their sanctuary. He launches a full-scale attack, determined to capture all the dinosaurs. 'No more hiding!' Vargas shouts into a megaphone, leading his troops.
Maya, Kai, and Dr. Thorne lead the dinosaurs in a defense of the valley. They use their combined skills and knowledge to outsmart the soldiers. 'We won't let you destroy their home!' Maya shouts, firing a slingshot at a helicopter.
Rex uses his roar to create a massive earthquake, disrupting the military's advance. Other dinosaurs join the fight, using their unique abilities to overwhelm the soldiers. The general got shocked and lost balance.
General Vargas' forces are defeated, but he refuses to surrender. He attempts to capture Rex himself, but Maya intervenes. She confronts him, appealing to his humanity. 'These creatures deserve to live!' Maya pleads.
Touched by Maya's words and the dinosaurs' peaceful nature, General Vargas has a change of heart. He orders his troops to withdraw and vows to protect the dinosaurs instead. 'Perhaps... perhaps I was wrong,' he admits.
